...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast New
Mexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico,
Central Highlands, Estancia Valley, Lower Rio Grande Valley,
Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area,
Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, South Central
Highlands and South Central Mountains. In north central New
Mexico, East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Glorieta Mesa
Including Glorieta Pass, Jemez Mountains, Santa Fe Metro Area and
Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains. In northeast New Mexico,
Northeast Highlands.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
There is a heightened risk of flash flooding on recent burn scars,
including the South Fork, Blue 2, Salt, McBride, and Hermit`s
Peak/Calf Canyon burn scars. Urban areas like the Albuquerque
metro will also see a heightened risk of flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The combination of a significant uptick in moisture and
increased coverage of afternoon and evening storms will
result in a heightened risk of locally heavy rainfall
producing flash flooding.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
