Mountainair Public Notice
The following public notice was submitted by the Town of Mountainair:

ORDINANCE 06-2023BILLY WEINMAN MEMORIAL BIKE PATH

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF MOUNTAINAIR, NEW MEXICO:
A portion of Beal St, Main St, Sunset Ave, and Ross Ave shall be designated a bike lane, with striping, signage, and pavement markings for the preferential or exclusive use of bicyclists, as defined in the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities.
This path will begin at the intersection of US60 and Sunset Ave and proceed north to Beal Ave. From the intersection of Sunset Ave and Beal St, it shall proceed east until it intersects with US60.
Alternatively, this path shall begin at the intersection of US60 and Main St and proceed east to Sunset Ave. From the intersection of Main St and Sunset Ave, it shall proceed north to the intersection of Sunset Ave and Beal St, at which it shall proceed east on Beal Ave until it intersects with US60.
Additionally, a path shall begin at the intersection of US60 and Main St and proceed east to Ross Ave. From the intersection of Main St and Ross Ave, it shall proceed north on Ross Ave until it intersects with US60.
There will be paths on each side of the street, going in alternative direction, going the same direction as motorized vehicles.
