Mountainair Meds & More Fundraiser by MMAC
On January 12, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM, the Manzano Mountain Art Council (MMAC) will be hosting a fundraiser musical performance to benefit Mountainair Meds & More. This will be the very first organ recital at MMAC, and will include the following pieces:
- W.A. Mozart’s Adagio and Rondo, K. 617, for organ and strings;
- Daniel Pinkham’s Sonata No. 1 for organ and strings;
- G. F. Handel’s Organ Concierto in G, Opus 4, No. 1, HWV 289, for organ and strings; as well as
- solo organ works by François Couperin, Dietrich Buxtehude, and J.S. Bach.
Solo organist James Yeager and the Albuquerque String Quartet (Ruxandra Marquardt and Nicolle Maniaci on violins, Laura Steiner on viola, and Melinda Mack on cello) will be performing these pieces in a free-to-see performance for all ages. While this is a free performance, attendees are welcome to make donations for the benefit of Mountainair Meds & More at the event.
