See classic cars from the era of Henry Ford to the muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s

Friends of Salinas Pueblo Missions Car Show

  • What to Expect: Historic vehicles from the earliest days of the automobile (including a number of Model A and Model T Fords) intermingled with classic muscle cars from the sixties and seventies. This is usually a popular spot for kids to burn off energy while their parents enjoy the shade.
Your chance to drink from the firehose: Mountainair Fire Department will be hosting a wet zone at this year's Jubilee Parade

Jubilee Parade

  • Details: Parade participants will line up on Limit Avenue beginning at 9:30 AM. Beginning at 10:00 AM, the parade will run on US-60 from Limit Avenue to NM-55; a "Wet Zone" located at the Mountainair Elementary School Barrier will help people cool off.
  • What to Expect: Themed floats mixed with first responder vehicles will travel down US-60 through downtown Mountainair. Candy will no doubt be thrown out to those watching from the sidewalk.

  • What to Expect: Food vendors will share tasty treats while children can get face painting, and families can browse many booths where artisans sell handmade crafts and other goods. Children will also be able to enjoy games, bounce houses, a dunk tank, and a water slide. There will be music and dancing for all to enjoy.

Art in the Window

  • Details: Beginning roughly at 10:00 AM, at La GalerĂa at the Shaffer, 103 West Main Street, Mountainair, NM 87036
  • What to Expect: La GalerĂa at the Shaffer will have a local artist creating works in the window of the art gallery. This is a great opportunity to cool off while watching the artist and perusing the gallery's works for sale. Visitors can also see what's on the menu at the Shaffer Hotel restaurant.

B Street Market Outdoor Dining

  • Details: From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in the outdoor pavilion next to the B Street Market, 204 W Broadway, Mountainair, NM 87036

Friends of Mountainair Animal Shelter Jubilee Yard Sale

  • Details: Beginning at 8:00 AM at the plaza across US-60 from the Mountainair Elementary School, 405 W Broadway, Mountainair, NM 87036
  • What to Expect: Friends of the Mountainair Animal Shelter (FOMAS) is the non-profit that helps serve adoptable pets here in Mountainair, which is critical given the current crisis we are seeing in the overcrowded shelters of New Mexico generally, and Torrance County in particular. The yard sale benefits the Mountainair Animal Shelter.

Horseshoe Tournament

  • Details: Registration closes at 12:30 PM on June 29, 2024; the tournament begins at 1:00 PM at Chavez Memorial Park, 501 W Cedar St, Mountainair, NM 87036; register by contacting Azan Chavez at 505-321-2619
  • What to Expect: Just like with your annual Super Bowl pool at work, it's probably best not to think about whether the tournament is unlicensed gambling and just focus on the fact that it's great fun for both participants and the crowd that will gather to watch at the Festival. There is a $40 entry fee and cash prizes for the winners.

Jubilee Fireworks

  • Details: Beginning at twilight (8:22 PM) at the football field next to Mountainair High School, 901 West 3rd Street, Mountainair, NM 87036
